Josie lets off a sigh of relief when they're not followed, but she doesn't lift the spell until they are safely back in their room. Just in case. Who knows, maybe they're not supposed to have pets.
Not that these guys are pets.
Either way, they become visible again, and Josie sets her minion down on the couch. "It's okay. You'll be safe here."
The minions already seem enchanted with the twins. It's a bit like saving their lives had already made them decide that they were going to say. They also seem completely unafraid, like they've already forgotten the hellbeast threat.
Josie raises her eyebrows at that because she doesn't know if they can keep them. And she doesn't feel like they should make that decision without consulting the minions. They seem sentient enough that they should be consulted.
They're so cute, honestly, how can she say no? They just need to figure out what the care and keeping of minions entails and they'll be good to go. Also, keeping them away from the hellbeasts. She goes to sit down next to them, before tipping her head to the side.
It's not like they come with an instruction manual. They can't even google it like they could with an animal back home. But they'll figure it out. She believes in them.
She peers over her shoulder before heading into the kitchen, gathering a few snack options and spreading them out on a plate before offering it to the minions. They seem smart enough - they should know what things are bad for them, right?
"What do you think, guys? Any of these look good?"
One of the two little minions toddles over to the plate, going for a little hunk of cheese. It takes a bite before grinning happily, making a little squeal.
It's adorable.
"I think he - she -- they like it" She can't really tell their gender, so gender neutral is the way to go.
"Yep. We can have a whole trial and error period."
These girls are going to spoil these minions so much, and it may not be for the best, but it will make both them and the minions happy, so that's what matters, right?
"How long do you think they'll be here?" Sometimes things disappear over time, sometimes they don't. It's hard to tell what these will end up being.
It could be the one nice thing Hell ever does for them. If Josie had known it was a sign, she might have been more prepared for what was coming in a few weeks.

Technically, Lizzie already has her pet fish she won at the carnival....but these guys were a little more than fish.
Lizzie sets hers down next to the other one on the couch, sitting down on the floor so she's at their level.
"We won't let anything hurt you. We may not be the full super squad, but we're enough."

"Do you think they're stuck here like we are?

"They might be. They're so cute. We should keep them."
At least they can keep them safe, right?

"Do you guys ... want to stay with us?"
no subject
The little minions jump and down making little noises, as if to indicate that yes, they want to stay.
Lizzie claps her hand in delight. "Then it's decided." Right...she should...consult her sister. She looks over at Josie.
"If that's okay with you?"

"Do we want to stick with Merry and Pippin?"

"I mean, I'm good with that if you are."
Slowly but surely Lizzie has felt more comfortable letting her nerd side out.

It makes more sense than anything Josie would come up with, and they don't seem to be able to tell them their own names.
"We've got plenty of space. We just have to make sure we have everything we need for them."

"I wonder what they eat."

"I think we can make a cheese diet work, if nothing else."
no subject
"I'm sure we'll find other things they like too."
She can't help but smile and watch as they try out some of the other foods. They were so cute.

Look, things in hell have been rough, they and the minions deserve this. Or at least, that's what Lizzie thinks anyway.
"I don't know. I hope they stay." She's already feeling kinda attached -- she'd rather not lose them.

"We're a team now. You, me, Merry and Pippin."

"Not quite the Super Squad, but a suitable replacement, given the circumstances."
And they'll help Lizzie when Josie goes missing.
